Announcement: Eddie Izzard at Comedy Bar, 11/21

UPDATE 11/21 10:40pm: Tickets are now sold out for both shows.

It’s official. Eddie Izzard will perform two shows this Wednesday night at Comedy Bar in Toronto, presumably to work out material for his upcoming Force Majeure tour.

$30 tickets went on sale Saturday night via TicketWeb. Be fast: these puppies are will-call only, so there won’t be a Chappelle-style scalper feeding frenzy.

The shows are being presented by Just For Laughs, coincidentally responsible for two of the other big names to fill the 100-ish seat venue over the last few years: Noel Fielding packed the room to its fullest during the Festival’s 2010 Toronto edition, and just this fall Louis C.K. dropped in to do a set during JFL42.

This? Should be interesting.
