Tonight: the Green Room, Clifton edition

It was just four weeks ago that I reported on the taping of The Green Room with Paul Provenza in Montreal, featuring a much talked-about appearance by Tony Clifton. That episode airs tonight at 11 p.m. on Showtime in the USA (and tomorrow via torrents everywhere else).

You’ll recall that I wasn’t particularly thrilled with the whole Clifton bit. But I respect Provenza’s perspective on it, which he detailed in the comments of that report. If you missed it, it’s definitely worth going back and reading what he had to say about it.

I’m on the road and won’t see the end result right away, but I’m very anxious to hear how this looks on the other end of the editing room. (Also, watch for me over Colin Quinn’s shoulder, back row, probably looking pissed.)
