Jim Carrey: Inside the Actors’ Studio taping

It’s tough to get much warning about these things at the best of times, but Jim Carrey will be taping an episode of Inside the Actors’ Studio this Sunday afternoon at the John Jay College in New York City.

If you want to be up close and personal when James Lipton asks to speak with Fire Marshall Bill, you’re in luck! A handful of tickets to the previously sold-out event have just been released, and can be snagged here: (if they’re gone, keep trying).

Can’t be there? No worries — Third Beat will have a correspondent in the field! Expect plenty of details, particularly about Carrey’s latest release I Love You Phillip Morris, in the days ahead.

EDIT: I hear from my reporter in the field that the taping was stellar, and went hours longer than what could possibly air. Check back mid-week for the full recap!
