NYC to converse with Louis CK

Regular readers are familiar with my undying adoration for the panel discussions at the Paley Center for Media in New York (formerly the Museum of TV & Radio). So today’s announcement that they’ll host Louis CK for a talk on the eve of his Carnegie Hall debut can be chalked up as most excellent news.

“Louie: A Conversation with Louis C.K.” will be moderated by Time Magazine’s James Poniewozik on Wednesday, November 3.

Tickets are now on sale to members, and go on sale to the public on Friday. Rarely do events sell out to members in advance of the public onsale, but I can vouch that a Paley membership is well worth having.

Stay tuned for more from the Paley during the week of the New York Comedy Festival. Want an idea of how this thing’ll run? Take a look through my recaps of the past 2 years’ worth of NYCF/Paley panels:

The Daily Show (for The Apiary), 2008
Late Night with Conan O’Brien, 2008
The Colbert Report, 2009
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, 2009
