Patton Off Broadway

Patton Oswalt may have to wait a little longer to make his Broadway debut. He was scheduled to star alongside Megan Mullalley, Lili Taylor and David Wilson Barnes in the Roundabout Theatre’s production of Lips Together, Teeth Apart. Earlier this week, Mullalley pulled out of the show amid reports of clashing with director Joe Mantello.

Now, Deadline reports that the production has been scrapped altogether, because it’s nearly impossible to get the show ready for the April opening.

Sucks for those of us who were planning to go, but apparently Roundabout is working on a suitable replacement. Might I suggest giving Patton the stage to himself for a few months?
