New feature: Film Vault Fridays

I was planning to start this in 2010, but what the heck! Every Friday, I’ll post a rare or unusual old clip to make comedy nerd mouths drool. The majority will come from my vast vhs library — so finally some good will have come out of those Saturday nights spent alone infront of the tv throughout the ’90s.

First up, though, is this gem uncovered by tomhayes on AST: The Garry Shandling Show 25th Anniversary, circa 1986. Says Tom, “The conceit is that Garry had been doing a talk show for 25 years and this is the 25th anniversary show.” That’s really all you need to know. Enjoy! (Hit “close to play” on the ad to start.)
