David Brent, meet Michael Scott

Can we say “epic”? The Daily Record reports that Ricky Gervais will reprise his role as David Brent in the American version of The Office. The Record says this will be for the “last episode”, which one assumes means this year’s season finale. No other sources are reporting it yet, but if it’s true, May can’t come fast enough!

And speaking of all things Ricky, even though it’s been circulated heavily on the comedy blogs today, you can never watch this too many times. Enjoy Gervais being naughty on the set of Sesame Street:
